Getting there : Had a bit of trouble finding the entrance and parking lot. Snug in an office / industrial area. Plenty of trees for nice shaded parking. Valet available. Getting seated : Reservations available on OpenTable. We got seated right away no fuss. Nice booth, very comfortable and intimate. Decor : Classy yet comfortable. New American and Wild West at the same time. A place where investment bankers and cattle ranchers can have a nice steak together. Tumbleweeds and Teslas. Menu : Standard 1 pager menu front and back with plenty of options. Also had a farm fresh menu with seasonal rotation. Extensive drink booklet. Free bread! Food : Ordered cowboy ribeye (58oz) white cheddar potatoes, and Texas quail. Ribeye had no crust and tasted slightly under seasoned in my opinion. I'm also told my palette leans more heavy handed on sodium than most. Fat could have been little more distributed. Plenty of beef flavor. Au jus and horseradish were excellent. Really missed having a crust. This is my fault though. I asked server, she said no crust but I ordered it anyway as they're known for the ribeye. Leftovers I am going to touch screaming hot cast iron w/ some butter. Potatoes were super good, nice crust on the bake. Quail was good, dressed up fried bird on amazing potato salad and apricot bbq sauce. Sweet and flavorful. Could have been elevated with a heat/kick element. Nice texture element to counter the softer steak. Cocktails : Bacon with an old fashioned? Very interesting. Was little confused with it as it fell into the drink and could see the oils. Drank it anyway, still delicious. Ranch water was the bomb. Both are solid and lasted basically the whole meal Dessert : NY style cheesecake for anniversary was comped. You expect it at this point at these kinds of venues but are still warmly surprised every time. This was nice but I secretly hoped for sticky toffee instead. Sadly this wasn't one of their comp options. Service : Very attentive. Great recommendations and could sense extensive knowledge of menu. We asked about multiple items to consider our options before making our choice. After we made our order, server asked if we were interested in the things we asked about earlier that didn't get selected. At a later point, server stopped by and my partner ordered red wine while I declined. Later on server asked me if I was interested in red wine again. Very attentive as I'd mentioned, but also felt kind of weirdly upselly and I revisited that thought a couple times the rest of the night. Value : Value for the steaks ($160) and cocktails ($18) is decent. Quail was delicious but felt little overpriced ($28). It's quail I suppose but somehow frying it made it feel 'homey' and perceived lower value, like I could order something similar from the deli counter. Overall : Good place to celebrate. Definitely should go at least once. Will take family here next time if they had never gone before. Apart from self sabotage in ordering and self induced toxic spiraling thoughts about service, it was an otherwise wonderful experience!

We always try to pick a different spot for our anniversary and THe Ranch was it this year. Ashton is a 5 star server! He was so amazing. So well versed in the menu and Hoban great recommendations. 2 of the managers stopped by our table and chipped it up with us which was super dope. The ambiance was spot on. They sat us in a quieter small, dim lights and quiet. It was a perfect spot for us to celebrate our 14yr anniversary. The food: great The drinks: please get the watermelon margarita, it was fantastic! Desert: cheesecake is good and crème brûlée was great

The gf took me here for my birthday and it was amazing. The place looked super fancy and the service was great. The bread was solid, I would come back just to eat that. I think we started with the oysters. Then we split the 40oz delmonico with the side of mushrooms and mashed potatoes, definitely way too much food but it was bomb. She forced me to drink the bbq bacon old fashioned even though I had decided I was going to quit alcohol after pickling my liver all weekend. That was also delicious. Would definitely come back.
